Revit Architecture is a powerful building information modelling software for architects, engineers, designers and contractors. This course guides students through introductory commands of Revit Architecture in order to produce working and presentation drawings. Students learn basic element creation, use modification tools, import and export files and import Revit family files. Wall, floor and roof creation tools and camera views are set up to create presentation sheets of the designs. Students create a simple set of basic drawings and produce 3D models of a house and commercial building. Reflecting industry standards, students develop and utilize time management skills and attention to detail in order to complete all assignments. Curriculum topics are consistent with most skills outlined in Autodesk's Revit Architecture Certified User and Certified Professional criteria.

Revit Architecture Introduction provides a foundation for Architects and Interior Designers in using Revit as a tool to facilitate Building Information Modelling (BIM). The program streamlines the design process through the use of a central 3D model, where changes made in one view will update across all views and on the printable sheets.
This training guide is designed to teach you the Autodesk Revit Architecture functionality as you would work with it throughout the design process. You begin by learning about the user interface and basic drawing, editing and viewing tools. Then you learn design development tools including how to model walls, doors, windows, floors, ceilings, stairs and more.
After completing this course, users will have a well-rounded knowledge of Revit Architecture, enabling them to complete a 3D BIM model and its corresponding construction documentation.
